I signed up for Instagram and stumbled upon Aleksandra Zee. Not only is she outrageously talented, and has stellar taste, but she is B E A U T I F U L. We met yesterday at Four Barrel Coffee in the Mission (her suggestion) and I found out she is also sweet, funny, and has incredible taste in coffee. If she doesn’t have some kind of weird foot fungus, she might just be perfect. Now, back to the talented part-Alexandra makes incredible art with wood (redwood is a favorite). You can view her work on instagram where you can also see a bit of her adventures, her pup, her boyfriend (don’t even get me started…babe) and little peaks into her home and studio space.

Alexandra just landed the Oct/Nov 2016 slot to show her work at Beatnik Studios and I can’t wait to see what she’ll have created. Until then, I’ll be enjoying the three triangles we snagged at one of her last shows at ATAK Gallery.
